Operator and scope
WS App Studio (Google Play developer: Boss.mapwoo) provides the World Greetings Atlas Android app (com.worldgreetingsdex.app).
Local learning records
Collected cards, favorites, mistakes, best score, interface language and sound settings are stored on your device without an account. We do not automatically upload learning records to our own server or synchronize them between devices.
Advertising and Google data processing
The Android app displays Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) banner ads. For advertising, analytics, performance and fraud prevention, the SDK may process and share IP addresses and approximate location, device/app identifiers, app/ad interactions, and crash/performance information. Child-directed treatment, a General content rating and non-personalized ad settings are applied. Non-personalized ads can still involve data processing. Google SDK transmissions use TLS encryption.
Speech playback
Greeting text and language codes are passed to your device’s text-to-speech engine. The app does not record your microphone. Language availability and network use depend on the installed voices and engine settings. Also consult your engine provider’s privacy policy.
Backup, restore and deletion
You can create an unencrypted JSON backup. Android saves it in Documents; restore reads only the file you select. Reset learning records in the app or clear Android app storage to remove local learning records. Delete external backup copies separately from their saved locations. Back up needed records before uninstalling.
Permissions, external sites and support
The app does not request location, camera, microphone or contacts permissions. Android 10 and earlier may need storage permission to save documents. External dictionary and policy links follow the destination’s policies. Information you email to support is processed for responding to your request through support operations and the email service. Email copies may be subject to the mail service’s retention policy. Contact support@wsappstudio.com for privacy questions, corrections or deletion requests.
