Personal information we collect

World Costume Dex does not require sign-up, and it does not ask for or collect personal information such as your name, email, photos, contacts or precise location on our own servers.

Information stored on your device

Favorites, recently viewed costumes, missed questions, progress, quiz scores and settings are stored on your device. Deleting the app or its data may delete them, so please save a backup file in Settings if needed.

Advertising

Versions with ads use the Google Mobile Ads SDK, which may process IP addresses, device and app information, diagnostics and device identifiers to serve ads, measure them and prevent fraud. The app marks requests as child-directed and under the age of consent, limits ads to a general audience rating, requests non-personalized ads, and does not ask for tracking permission.

Backup and sharing

If you choose, you can save your progress as an unencrypted JSON file or share a costume description with other apps. You manage and delete any copies wherever you saved them.

Transfers and accounts

Your progress is not automatically sent to WS App Studio servers or synced to any account.
